BENRIACH 12YRS 2006 CASK 1853 SAUTERNES

Speyside distillery BenRiach has released Batch 16 of its single cask programme, comprising 24 new single cask whiskies aged for between seven and 33 years.On nose there is sweet lemon meringue pie and poached pear topped with toasted almond, vanilla and coconut ice. Sip lemon zest and caster sugar in meringue baked with vanilla and cardamom palate. Pear and almond tarte tatin linger into the delicious dessert-like finish.
