BENRIACH 30YRS 1988 CASK 4422 TOKAJI

Speyside distillery BenRiach has released Batch 16 of its single cask programme, comprising 24 new single cask whiskies aged for between seven and 33 years.Nose: Intense sweet dessert wine with honeyed fig, baked pineapple and apricot marmalade. Clove and crystallised ginger provide an intriguing spiced back-note. Palate: Surprising balance of dark manuka honey, sultana and raisin syrup as baked pineapple and citrus peel build with ginger marmalade into the lingering grapey finish.
