The history of Chevalier comes from archives of the seventeenth century that recalls that the small area of Chibaley includes “houses, gardens, land, vineyards and woods” and therefore represents a farm in which the vineyard coexisted with farming. The name of the domain would be linked, without one knowing exactly why, to the presence of the very old road of Saint Jacques de Compostelle which still borders the property. Olivier BERNARD and his team today passionately lead this family property and line up one behind the other wonderful vintages of the highest quality, with the help of Stéphane Derenoncourt.

Rosé de Chevalier is offering a color is vivid and bright. As soon as the wine is opened aromas of red fruit such as cherry is revealed as well as redcurrant and raspberries. The wine is intense. To the mouth, the wine has a nice fruit acidity that gives a fresh sensation.
