Chateau Loirac is a 12ha property set up in 1898 and now owned by several families passionate about wine. Most of the vines have been replanted in 1987 and are now 30 years old. The wine spends between 12 to 15 months in French and American oak barrels. The total production is around 60 000 bottles per years.
Chateau Loirac has been awarded “Cru Bourgeois”. The Cru Bourgeois classification lists some of the châteaux from the Médoc that were not included in the 1855 Classification of Crus Classés but still of high quality. It is awarded annually and Cru Bourgeois have increasingly built a reputation for quality and value.

The wines has aromatic expression of red fruits with cassis and blackberry and undergrowth with nuances of caramel and spices. The palate is charming, with a hint of oak and hints of sweet spices. Round and warm, it benefits from good wood support and ends with a long and suave finish.
