CH VIEUX VERDOT ST EMILLION 18

Acquired by the grandparents of Guillaume Clémenceau, the current owner, in 1988, the 9 hectare estate is located south of the pretty medieval village of Saint-Emilion in the commune of Saint-Sulpice de Faleyrens. The vines are planted on sandy-gravel soils, with a vein of gravel running through them, which gives it an exceptional terroir. Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec are cultivated without herbicides or insecticides, replaced by mechanical weeding for one and biological control for the other. Each plot and each grape variety is worked with respect for the terroir, for the alchemy that nature gives them to express the richness of their grapes.
