The Famille Chermette estate has been a family-run winegrowing business since the 17th century, located in Saint-Vérand., in the Golden Stone area, South of Beaujolais in Rhone.
Jean-Etienne Chermette joined the domaine in 2017 and took over from Martine and Pierre-Marie Chermette in February 2023. Passionate about his work, he is fully committed to producing top-quality wines: white, rosé and red Beaujolais, crus such as Brouilly, Fleurie, Saint-Amour, Morgon and Moulin à Vent, Crémants de Bourgogne and traditional fruit creams.\
The Saint-Amour is the most northern of the Beaujolais, located in the village of Saint-Amour 12km South of Mâcon. It dominates the valley of the Saône and the Bresse. Very flowery on the nose. A balanced wine with a beautiful body and complex aromas of red fruits. It is the wine of the lovers’ day, Valentine’s Day !
