Château Clinet is one of the top ten wineries of the Pomerol, which is as grandiose as it is miniature. Just at the heart of the plateau, the vineyards of Clinet and La Fleur de Clinet spread out around the Pomerol church. “La Fleur is not a second wine, but an allusion to the refinement of Fleur de Sel,” says Ronan Laborde from the owner family. 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc are classically aged, stylistically characterized by the virtues of freshness, clarity, finesse and souplesse. Truly a pearl from the best house, ideal even for younger enjoyment.

The nose opens with aromas of forest fruits, blackberries, liquorice and bergamot. On the palate the fruit remains fresh and vibrant. Notes of oriental spices, plum and brown sugar add intensity to the finish. Framed by fine and soft tannins.
