Born in 1980 from a challenge of Fabrizio Bianchi to create a white wine of great character in an area which was not especially dedicated to it, this selection of Chardonnay from the Valdigallo vineyard, 3.50 hectares at an altitude of 260 metre a.s.l. exposed to the north-east, is vinified half in 5 hl French barrels and the other half in steel. It ages over two years in glass before the sale. Its great capacity to age makes it possible to enjoy its characteristics to the best after many years from the harvest.
Rich with floral and fruity aromas and notes that recall wildflowers, chamomile, ripe golden delicious apples, pineapple and peach. The palate are flavourful and elegant with a fruity aroma and whose long finish hints at citrusy undertones.
