Rivera Salice Salentino is a renowned Italian wine originating from the picturesque region of Salento in southern Puglia. This exquisite red wine showcases the richness and character of the local Primitivo grape variety, which thrives in the Mediterranean climate and mineral-rich soils of the area.
This balanced red wine from Italy is made from the grape varieties Malvasia Nera and Negroamaro. After the grape harvest, the grapes reach the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Salice Salentino can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months

Salice Salentino is produced mainly from Negroamaro, combined with a small amount of Malvasia Nera. The modern winemaking allows to obtain a wine with bright purplish red, with intense aromas of black fruit and a fresh palate characterized by slightly bitter finish typical of the variety.
