The 2020 Brunello di Montalcino Pelagrilli shows a particularly powerful bouquet and rich concentration and is a great expression of Sangiovese, but the wine is also balanced. The intensity is emphasised by aromas of baked fruit, roasted spices, sweet herbs and grilled rosemary, with a hint of redwood and cedar or barbecue smoke. On the palate, the wine is very round and full-bodied. It covers every corner of the mouth. It is a full-bodied wine with powdery, young tannins and a velvety finish.
