Nowadays, Bastien and Michel are exploring the vineyards to find grapes from very old vines, often located in the historical heart of each appellation. Tardieu Laurent is not shy about using new oak, or employing modern wine making techniques in Hermitage. Many of their wines are very modern in style for the Northern Rhone Valley, as well as in the Southern Rhone.
