Bodegas Tarón is the northernmost winery in the DOCa Rioja, lying very close to the Obarenes Mountains and surrounding four small villages with a long-standing history of grape growing. The combination of more than 700 hectares of vines with an average age of over 50 years and the expertise of its growers and winemakers results in a range of consistently high quality wines.The grapes for Taron Blanco come exclusively from estate-owned vineyards located in four towns in Rioja Alta (Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón, Tirgo, Villaseca and Sajazarra), with an average vine age of 40 years.
