Rooted in the winemaking tradition of the Penedès since the sixteenth century, the Torres family founded its winery in Vilafranca del Penedès in 1870, more than 150 years ago. Today, the fifth generation focuses on the production of wines from unique vineyards and historic estates, the recovery of ancestral varieties and regenerative viticulture to face climate change. Gran Coronas is born in the DO Penedès on deep soils with a high water retention capacity and a high content of active limestone. Formed from Miocene materials.
