Founded in 1998, Achaval-Ferrer is a team of friends who dream about great wines. Achaval-Ferrer is also a collection of old vineyards in beautiful places. They are committed to the production of wines that are expressive of their terroir. They are a small winery because this is the key to top quality. Low yields allow the vineyards to express their personality in the grapes. Low intervention winemaking allows the grapes to fully express their vineyard in the bottle.Altamira is a mountain with extreme weather. Quiet and calm are mixed into the intensity of the peaks of Tunuyan. It is the most symmetrical of the vineyards: it possesses a ray of aromas ranging from black and red fruits to passing flowers to spices and minerals.

Quimera Blanco is a blend of white grape varieties that strives for perfect harmony. It’s a concordance between Chardonnay, which contributes complexity and elegance; Viognier, which lends texture and velvety tannins; and Semillon, as an expression of freshness and intensity. This blend embodies the concept of our flagship Quimera combination: an elegant, fresh, and persistent blend for a high-altitude white wine.
