Château Brane-Cantenac is a distinguished Second Growth estate from the 1855 Classification, located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux’s Left Bank. With a history tracing back to the 18th century, it has long been recognized for its elegance and finesse, hallmarks of the Margaux terroir. The estate spans over 75 hectares of vineyards, planted predominantly to Cabernet Sauvignon alongside Merlot and smaller proportions of other Bordeaux varietals. Under the stewardship of the Lurton family since the early 20th century, particularly Henri Lurton in recent decades, Brane-Cantenac has combined traditional savoir-faire with modern techniques to consistently produce wines that express both pedigree and refinement. It remains one of Margaux’s most respected and emblematic châteaux.
