Domaine Charles Audoin covers 14 hectares across Marsannay, situated towards the top of the Côtes de Nuits. Marsannay is often thought to offer the best value for money in the Côtes de Nuits, having not yet secured a Village classification, but producing wines many consider well worthy of it.
Wafting from the glass with aromas of Griotte cherry, cassis, menthol and warm spices. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, with a satiny attack but a taut, stony mid-palate and finish.
