Silver Heights is a family-run vineyard established by Gao Lin in 1999, then passed on to his daughter Gao Yuan (also known as Emma) who received her enology training at the Ecole d’Oenologie in Bordeaux. The relatively small-scale vineyard lies between the western part of Helan Mountain and the eastern part of Yellow River, with an altitude of from 1,100 to 1,300 meters above sea level.
Sand Lake Moon is a natural orange wine blend of Malvasia and a field blend of other grapes, fermented on skins in traditional clay vessels for 30 days, then aged in neutral oak barrels.

A vibrant and explosive orange wine, its aroma cascades out of the glass like volcanic magma, featuring notes of grapefruit, yellow apricot, peach, preserved jasmine, and orange blossom, intense and overwhelming. On the palate, it boasts layers of silky tannins that gently wrap and blend all the flavors, propelled by the bold and powerful acidity into the lingering finish.
