With only a few barrels selected, Aphrodite is derived from best low yielding Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard sites and showcases its varietal hallmarks of blackcurrant and mineral. From tiny berries, the concentration of flavours is slowly extracted during fermentation to produce a balanced but fruit driven wine with great ageing potential. This wine has plush dense fruit backed by magnificent mouth-feel and weight, matured in 100% new French oak.

Notes of cassis, bright red berries, western red cedar, lavender, liquorice, crushed blackcurrants. Very deep black in the colour right to the edge of the glass. The palate is huge in texture and has layer after layer of concentrated fruits. This is a full-bodied and robust wine with a lovely core of energy.
